AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (ANS-C00)

About Course
The AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (ANS-C00) is a certification offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) for IT professionals who perform complex networking tasks. As of my knowledge cut-off in September 2021, this certification is designed to validate a candidate’s skills and experience in connection with the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based solutions using AWS.
The certification exam generally covers the following areas:
Design and implement hybrid IT network architectures at scale
Design and implement AWS networks
Automate AWS tasks
Configure network integration with application services
Design and implement for security and compliance
Manage, optimize, and troubleshoot the network
To be eligible for this certification, it’s recommended (though not required) to have one or more years of hands-on experience designing and maintaining AWS-based applications and a solid understanding of networking technologies as they relate to AWS. It’s also beneficial to have a background in defining requirements for network solutions and providing guidance on architectural best practices.
The certification process generally involves a multiple-choice, multiple-answer exam. Exam content is divided among several domains, and each domain is weighted to determine the overall score. A candidate must prepare well and gain a broad understanding of AWS services and architectural best practices to successfully pass the exam.
